The Performing Arts Division operates the Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts, 1601 Civic Dr., which houses the 800-seat Hofmann Theatre and the 300-seat Dean Lesher Theatre. Opened in October 1990, the Center is home to the City's own Center Repertory Co., Diablo Light Opera Co. and Contra Costa Musical Theatre.
